Blac Chyna To Cardi B: Let's Collaborate

Blac Chyna wants to work with Cardi B.

Blac Chyna is looking to become the next reality TV star to segue into a successful and profitable rap career. She's already shared a studio picture posing alongside A1 Bentley, a producer who has worked with top-flight musical talent like Chris BrownGucci ManeKid InkJeremihTy Dolla $ign, and Omarion, just to name a few. As for the features on her upcoming project, those have been impressive as well, with Yo GottiTory LanezJeremih and Rae Sremmurd's Swae Lee rumoredto be lending their voices in support. With an all-star cast lined up for her debut effort, you'd think Blac Chyna wouldn't have too many more people on her collaboration wishlist, but it turns out there's at least one more: hip-hop's new First Lady, Cardi B.
The "Bodak Yellow" emcee has certainly hit a pinnacle that few women have in years past, solidifying her place in hip-hop's upper echelon of talent by bagging a No. 1 single. When asked by a TMZ cameraman if she'd like to link up with Cardi in the studio, Chyna's answer was to the point: "of course." Making her way to her car after a night out on the town, she also gave her fellow female emcee some props, saying that she "definitely deserves it, for sure." Chyna didn't offer up any more comments or information about the music she's currently working on, but word about her enthusiasm about a potential Cardi B collab is sure to make its way to the "Bodak" star and, down the road, perhaps planting the seed for a team-up. Check out the entire TMZ clip below.
The anticipation surrounding Chyna's music project is ramping up as of late, mostly because the studio work has been shrouded in secrecy. A previous report claimed that Chyna is a pretty versatile artist and has gone from rapping to "poetry music" to straight-up singing, all for the same LP. Whether or not that broad approach will yield positive results remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure: many music execs will be watching closely to see if she is able to cut through the noise and establish her own distinctive voice within the hip-hop community and beyond.
